Collect all of the monthly themed page kits to make your own Calendar Quiet Book! Children will learn the months of the year, while also practicing fine motor skills (snapping, zipping, tying bows, weaving), colors, shapes, letter and number recognition, and counting. There is also plenty of opportunity for imaginative and creative play!
There are 18 pages in the book, plus the cover.
Cover - Choose which type of cover you'd like to make. The Quilted Cover is the more difficult of the two. You get to have a personalized name on the back where it says, "Made with love by______"
January - Build a Snowman (Add hats, a scarf, stick arms, and mittens)
February - Valentine's I Spy (Look and find various items in the picture)
March - Make a Rainbow (Stack colors at the pot of gold)
April (2 pages) - Alphabet Matching (Pair lower and upper case letters to complete the Easter egg)
May - Teapot and Cup (Has removable magnetic handle and spout)
June - Go Fishing (Has magnetic fishing pole and fish)
July - Flag Puzzle (Triangle pieces attach to the page)
August - School Bus (Wipers and wheels move, doors open and shut, and has finger puppet people. *Snaps are optional and snap tool is not provided)
September - Find the Acorns (There are 10 hidden among the leaf flaps, zippered tree, and textured leaves. One is loose to feed the squirrel with the fuzzy tail!)
October Page 1 - Costume Dress Up (Includes astronaut, princess, super hero, ghost, and banana)
October Page 2 - Spider Finger Puppet (Lift his web to detach it)
November Page 1 - Turkey (Match the feather colors to spell "Thanks". *Snaps are optional and snap tool is not provided).
November Page 2 - Pie Weaving (Finish the apple pie by weaving it closed)
December Page 1 - Decorate the Christmas Tree (Embroidered star and ornaments included)
December Page 2 - Gingerbread House with Gingerbread Man Finger Puppet (Embroidered peppermint is included)
Birthday Page 1 - Decorate the Cupcake (Add frosting, cupcake liners, and candles) Add these pages near your child's birthday month!
Birthday Page 2 - Balloon Shapes (Match the shapes and tie the ribbon)
The pages and cover are broken up into
10 page kits over the course of the year. January and July will not have page kits and you will not be charged. These can be catch up months if needed!
Payment will be charged on the 27th of every month after subscribing (except for December and June) and the page kit will be shipped after the 1st of each month. Here is how it will be sent to you over the course of the year:
January - no page kit
February - January/February
March - March/Birthday Part 1
April - April (2 pages)
May - May/Birthday Part 2
June - June/July
August - August/September
September - Cover
October - October (2 pages)

Kailan is a stay at home mom, turned work at home mom of 2. Before that, she was a 2nd grade teacher. She is passionate about screen-free activities, learning through play, creating with felt, and helping others with sewing projects! She started her own business after her first Quiet Book swap with friends was successful. She organizes swap groups with people from all over the country to make quiet books in an easier, more cost-effective way. You can also find sewing page kits, templates, and felt story sets in her online shop.

The book will be much more durable if it is sewn. You can hand stitch or use a sewing machine!
No, tools are not included. You will need a heavy duty hole puncher, grommet tool to hammer the grommets, and the snap pliers to install snaps (but this one is optional). The tools can either be purchased on my website here or will be linked in the instructions on where you can find them.
If you order before the 28th of the month, your kit will ship on the 1st. If you order between the 28th and 1st of the month, you missed the cut off and will begin with the next month's page kit.
No. You will start with whatever upcoming month it is. The cover kit ships on September 1.
Some pages contain small pieces which could be choking hazards, so it's great for ages 3-6. If you remove the small pieces, 2 year olds would love this book too! I've even had subscribers start making it early so the child will have it when he/she is ready.
